ONLY if the gun is registered in your name and they have to be your first line. for example, you can let your WIFE /HUSBAND(not gf/bf or soon to be) , your mother or father, or your blood children. not your sibling, not your uncle, not your cousin etc.. and it is only in situations of distress. you can't just let your kid shoot your gun in the woods to play around or something. hope that helped. :)

Answer:

1. The little bird broke its wing.

2. The little bird asked all the trees for help.

3. The oak, birch, and willow trees refused to help the little bird.

4. The spruce, juniper, and pine offered to help the little bird.

5. The wind came and took the leaves of all the trees but the evergreens.

Explanation:

Why the Evergreen Trees Never Lose their Leaves, by Florence Holbrook

1. "One little bird had broken its wing and could not fly with the others."

2. "The forest looked warm, and it made its way to the trees as well as it could, to ask for help."

3. First it came to a birch tree. "Beautiful birch tree," it said, "my wing is broken, and my friends have flown away. May I live among your branches till they come back to me?"

"No, indeed," answered the birch tree, drawing her fair green leaves away.

4. "So the spruce gave the lonely little bird a home; the pine kept the cold North Wind away from it; and the juniper gave it berries to eat."

5. "In the morning all those shining, green leaves lay on the ground, for a cold North Wind had come in the night, and every leaf that it touched fell from the tree."

The correct answer is C, regretful. This is because the narrator is talking about the past and feels bad because she couldn't do anything to change it. In fact, she regrets that she couldn't attend to the same school that her best friends moved to.
