Why did the Second Continental Congress vote twice on the Declaration of Independence?

History

Answer:

It wanted a unanimous vote.

Explanation:

If Congress had decided to vote on independence on January 1, 1776, most likely no more than five colonies, maybe even less, would have voted for it. , But the sentiment for the desired independence in the colonies grew steadily after Common Sense and the king’s speech were published about two weeks later. Most of the colonies had voted for independence at first, but Adams and others understood that such a decision should be unanimous.

Why do allies and rivals often become enemies
grin007 [14]
Allies and rivals often become enemies because : the more you know about them, the more you grow to dislike them. There can be scarce resources, and then they both can't share with each other. I hope I could help! :D
