The village of Warm Springs is known as the part-time home for President Franklin D. Roosevelt, after contracting his paralytic illness, he sought ways to perform exercises that would help him, and his found in the hot springs of Warm Springs.

The president regularly visited the springs, so he ended up building a house that was later known as the little white house, was the place where he died, and is now known as a public museum.
