the median would be 48.

in order to get that answer you must get the numbers in order from least to greatest which is 22, 36, 48, 60, 84 and to get the median you just find the middle number, which in this case is 48.

Hope i helped :)

Find the absolute maximum and absolute minimum values of f on the given interval. f(x) = 16 + 2x − x^2, [0, 5]
RSB [31]

Answer:

<h2>absolute maximum = 16</h2><h2>absolute minimum = 1</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

To get the absolute maximum and minimum values of the function f(x) = 16 + 2x − x² n the given interval [0,5], we need to get the values of f(x) at the end points. The end points are 0 and 5.

at x = 0;

f(0) =  16 + 2(0) − 0²

f(0) = 16

at the other end point i.e at x = 5;

f(5) =  16 + 2(5) − 5²

f(5) = 16 + 10-25

f(5)= 26-25

f(5) = 1

The absolute minimum value is 1  and  occurs at x  = 5

The absolute maximum value is 16 and  occurs at x  = 0

Make U the subject of the formula <br> D = ut + kt2
natali 33 [55]

Remark

I'm going to interpret this equation as

D = ut + kt²  The only difference is the 2.

Solution

Subtract kt² from both sides.

D - kt² = ut   Now divide by u on both sides.

\dfrac{D - kt^2}{t} = \dfrac{ut}{t}

The t's cancel out. on the right.  You are left with u on the right.

\dfrac{D - kt^2}{t} =\text{u}
