What are story themes?</h2>
The theme in a story is its underlying message, or 'big idea. ' In other words, what critical belief about life is the author trying to convey in the writing of a novel, play, short story or poem? This belief, or idea, transcends cultural barriers. It is usually universal in nature.
This mostly depends on abuse by whom. Parents who abuse their children often do it because of personal failure and insecurities, so they see their child either as a valve, or as a testimony to their life, or anything like that. Peer abuse can often happen due to things such as physical disabilities, nationality, religion, race, or anything similar.
