•Develops main points.
•Provides evidence.
•In the body paragraph(s), an essay will delve deeper in to the document and usually explain or argue for a certain side of the facts, which will be the main points developed, and provide evidence for those points. It also makes a case as to why they’re right and the opposite side is wrong, which is rebutting other claims.

Conclusion:
•Summarizes argument.
•After all of the paragraphs of the essay, the reader is hit with a lot of knowledge that they have to sort through to form their own opinion or knowledge of the subject. The conclusion highlights the strongest key points and factors of the argument, and generally summarizes it as a whole.
