Name at least two differences between the people in shakespeare's time-period and people today?
julia-pushkina [17]
Shakespeare's time was from about the middle of the end to the end of the Renaissance. One change from his time is woman's rights. Women were looked down upon when it came to many things like sailing and because of this, some became pirates. Two famous pirates from the renaissance were Grace O'Malley and Charlotte De Berry. Another change is that there were more governments with queens or kings and royalty/dynasties ruled instead of elected people.

This is for grade 2 student.. Please answer??
NARA [144]
Okay. Say you can bake a cake. Say you can ride a bike. You can make a paper airplane. A cootie-catcher. Anything, you can make anything. What you would have to do it tell how you make it, and from the words below, choose a word/adjective that describes how you make it, whether it be how it looks, sounds, tastes, or feels.

Say I can bake muffins : first I would preheat the oven, beat the butter and sugar, mix it all together, lather it into muffins cups, and so on. I would put it in the oven, and wait for it. Once I would eat it, or anything, I would say that the muffins are fresh out of the oven. They are smooth to my touch. They taste sweet in my mouth. And say I overheated this muffin to burned crisps. They would taste and feel hard.

What effect does the author's use of language such as "cause a swimmin and awsome create in the poem F. It makes the speaker sou
Stells [14]

Answer:

It makes the speaker sound casual

Explanation:

The use of "cause, a-swimmin, and awesome" by the poet makes her sound casual. A casual text is one that is written in a relaxed tone, and an informal manner. Such a text makes use of everyday language that is easily understood by the reader. As a person reads the poem, "Ode to an Otter", there is a feeling of familiarity and good understanding of what the poet is saying because of her choice of words.

She abbreviated <em>because</em> using <em>'cause' </em>and<em> always swimming</em>, using <em>'a-swimmin'</em>. This removes the formality in the poem and makes it informal or casual.
