F(x) = y = -1/3x + 0
g(x) = y= -1/3x - 3
I don’t think that you have to include the y in the equations. It really depends on what your teacher wants. ;)
Hope this helps✨❤️
Merry Early Christmas!
A.
5x+12=3x+18
2x+12=18
2x=6
x=3
you would get paid the same amount if you worked 3 hours at each job
B.
5(5)+12
10+12
22
3(5)+18
15+18
33
you would get paid more at the second job if you worked for 5 hours
The formula for point slope form is (y-y1) = m(x - x1)
In this formula m will always be the slope. So, you can substitute 3 in for m
(y-y1) = 3(x-x1)
y1 is the y-coordinate and x1 is the x-coordinate. So, you can substitute them in and you will be done.
(y - 1) = 3(x - (-2))
But since it is minus a negative it changes to a positive so it would be:
(y -1) = 3(x + 2)
Hope this helps!
