Total number of incoming in the college = (x+ y)

y  =  the number in-state students

Number of out of state students that can be  accepted = 100

So, the Number of in-state students that can be expected

=  4( out of state students)

 = 4 x 100  = 400

So, the constraints are given as below,

      x ≤ 100

and y ≤ 400

and total number of incoming in the college = (x+ y)
