The woman can wear 60 outfits because it's only 3 skirts and 5 shirts and that would be 15 outfits x the 4 hats which would be 15 x 4 which = 60

Hope this helps.

Faye pays her family phone bill, and Jonathan’s family phone bill with her card and jonathan pays her back. If Faye bill is $120
nika2105 [10]

Answer:

Jonathan has to pay Faye back US$ 240

Jonathan has 4 people on his bill and Faye has 6.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Let's find out the amount of the phone bills, this way:

Total of the two bills = US$ 600

Faye's bill = US$ 120 more than Jonathan's

Jonathan's bill = x

Solving for x, we can use this equation:

x + x + 120 = 600

2x + 120 = 600

2x = 600 - 120

2x = 480

x = 480/2 = 240

Jonathan has to pay Faye back US$ 240

2. Let's find out the number of people on each bill, this way:

Faye has two people more on her bill than Jonathan

Number of people on Jonathan's bill = x

Number of people on Faye's bill = x + 2

We will use the following equation:

240 * (x + 2) = 360x

240x + 480 = 360x

240x - 360x = -480

-120x = - 480

x = -480/-120

x = 4 ⇒ x + 2 = 6

Jonathan has 4 people on his bill and Faye has 6.
