Answer:

f(x) = sin(\frac{\pi x }{215} )

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the graph of the sin curve that shows the electromagnetic energy which represents indigo light.

According to the graph, we see that the period of the sin curve is 430.

Now, we know that the period of sinx is 2 \pi and sinax is \frac{2 \pi}{a}.

So, we get that the period of sin430x is \frac{2 \pi}{430} = \frac{\pi}{215}.

Hence, the accurate function for the indigo light is sin(\frac{\pi x}{215}).

Can someone please help me with problem number 13. 14 ASAP
Tanya [424]

Answer:

For 13: 13/30

Step-by-step explanation:

First simplify!

9x - 25 + 21x - 35 + 12 = 0

then simplify some more

9x + 21x = 30x

(-25) + (-35) + 21 + 12 = -13

30x - 13 = 0

now add 13 to both sides, 13 and -13 cancel each other out and it becomes

30x = 13

then you divide by 30 to get x by itself. 30 cancels itself out and you are left with 13/30 which doesn't simplify so that shod be your answer! I couldn't figure out 14 but I hope this helps!!!

What is the quotient?
Ugo [173]

Answer:

4 x  10^{12})

Step-by-step explanation:

(6 x 10^{8}) / (1.5 x 10^{-4})

=  (\frac{6}{1.5} x 10^{8}) / (10^{-4})

=  (\frac{6}{1.5} x 10^{8}) x (10^{4})

=  \frac{6}{1.5} x 10^{12}

=  4 x  10^{12}

If you were to solve following system by substitution what would be the best variable to solve for and from what equation? 2x+6y
Deffense [45]
This is an odd question because it's a little subjective, but, for me, I would choose x from the second equation because you could simply add 12y to both sides, then divide by 3. It has the added benefit of not having any decimals/fractions, or negative values, which would be nice for substitution.

felipe is going to a plant b sunflower seeds in one garden and 5b + 10 sunflower seeds in another. how many seeds is felipe goin
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

610 seeds

Step-by-step explanation:

b + 5b + 10 = x

  • if b = 1 pack of sunflower seeds, then b = 100
  • with this in mind, substitute 100 in for b

100 + 5(100) + 10 = x

  • solve

600 + 10 = x

610 = x
