Sorry I am not sure about #1.

But the answer for #2 is 16/28

This is true because once simplified by the greatest common denominator, which is 4, the fraction is reduced to 4/7

16 divided by 4 equals 4
and 28 divided by 4 equals 7

stepladder [879]

Answer:

320 customers is the answer

Step-by-step explanation:

1. You have to divide 144 by 45% to find one percent of the customers (you get 3.2).

2. Once you get one percent of all of the customers (3.2) you multiply it by 100 to get 100 percent of the customers (or total number of customers).

So, 320 total customers

Lady_Fox [76]

The question is an illustration of combination and there are 729 potential pass codes available

How to determine the number of potential pass codes?

The given parameters are

Symbols available = 9

Length of pass code = 3

From the question, we understand that a symbol may be entered any number of times.

This means that each of the 9 available symbols can be used three times

So, the number of potential pass codes is

Passcodes = 9 * 9 * 9

Evaluate the product

Passcodes = 729

Hence, there are 729 potential pass codes available
