I'm not sure this answer is correct , I think want to find 11 bourse you must find out how many miles in 1 hours then:
452 divide by 8= 56.5
And 56.5 Multiply 11=621.5

Hello!

So we know that Jordan drove 452 miles IN 8 hours. Now we need to find out how far he can drive in 11 hours at a constat rate. So to find this we need to figure out how many miles he drove per hour. To do this we will do the following:

452 ÷ 8 = 56.5

1 hour = 56.5 miles

CHECK:

56.5 × 8 = 452
This tells us we are CORRECT!

Now we will multiple 56.5 by 11 to get how many miles Jordan could drive in 11 hours.

56.5 × 11 = 621.5

This shows us that

Jordan could drive 621.5 miles in 11 hours if he maintained a constant speed of 56.5 miles per hour.

Hope this helps you! All the best!! :)

Mrs. Nevin is making a costume for a school play. She needs a piece of fabric that is greater than 1/2 of a yard but less than 5
Bumek [7]

Answer:

4/7 yards

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

Required fabric is > 1/2 but < 5/8

Let required fabric = x

Then ;

Converting the fractions to decimal :

1/2 = 0.5 ; 5/8 = 0.625

0.5 < x < 0.625

3/8 yards = 0.375 ;

4/7 yards = 0.571

3/7 yards = 0.429

2/4 yards = 0.5

0.5 < 0.571 < 0.625

From the options, only 4/7 yards satisfies the condition :

Domain is the numbers you can use
range is the result of inputing the domain

an interesting fact is that the inverse of a function switches the domain and range

basically
the domain of f(x) becomes the range of f^-1(x)
the range of f(x) becomes the domain of f^-1(x)
so just find the domain and range of f(x)

f(x)=3x- \frac{1}{2}
there are no restrictions
all real numbers can be used
all real numbers can result

so the answer is domain and range for both is all real numbers
