<h2>Simple diffusion is defined as the movement of: A molecules from areas of higher concentration to areas of lower concentration.</h2>

Explanation:

Diffusion

It is the movement of substances from the region of  higher concentration to lower concentration .

This diffusion is shown almost negligible by solids , a little by liquids and  maximum by gases .

The factors on which diffusion depends :

  • Inter-molecular force between particles : It is inversely proportional to diffusion .That  is : more is the force , lesser the diffusion  rate
  • Inter-molecular space between particles : More is the space , more is the diffusion or vice versa .
  • Density of substance :More is the density , less is the diffusion or vice versa .

Applications of diffusion

It helps in the movement of substance in and out from the cell and its components .

It helps in spreading the fragrance when sprayed with some perfume etc .

It helps in dissolving substance in any medium

Etc

Give evidence to support or dispute: “In nature, the chance of finding one isotope of an element is the same for all elements.”
alekssr [168]

Answer:

False, isotopes have different occurrence percentages, so the changes are different.

Explanation:

Hello,

In this case, since it is false that the isotopes of all the elements can be found with the same chance (occurrence) we can consider the following facts:

1. Carbon atom has two major occurring isotopes: C-12 (98.93%) and C-13 (1.07%).

2. Bromine atom has two major occurring isotopes: Br-79 (50.69%) and Br-81 (49.31%).

3. Calcium has four major occurring isotopes: Ca-40 (96.941%), Ca-42 (0.647%), Ca-43 (0.135%) and Ca-44 (2.086%).

Which show us that the chances of finding any isotope differ among elements.

Regards.

Which equation correctly shows an endothermic reaction? *
Nady [450]
It’s A because +1500 kJ is before the arrow. it’s in the reactant side. so it is endothermic.

The H 2 produced in a chemical reaction is collected through water in a eudiometer. If the pressure in the eudiometer is 760.0 t
siniylev [52]

Answer:

the pressure (torr) of theH₂ gas is 736.2 torr

Explanation:

Given that

The H₂ gas  produced in a chemical reaction is collected through water in a eudiometer; during this process, the gas collected contains some droplets of water vapor along with these gas.

So; the total pressure in the eudiometer = Pressure in the H₂ gas  - Pressure of the water vapor

Where;

P_{Totsl} =  total pressure in the eudiometer = 760.0 torr

P_{H_2} = Pressure in the H₂ gas  = ???

P_{H_2O} = Pressure in the water vapor  = 23.8 torr

Now:

P_{Totsl} = P_{H_2} + P_{H_2O}

- P_{H_2} = + P_{H_2O} - P_{Totsl}

P_{H_2}  = - P_{H_2O} + P_{Totsl}

P_{H_2}  =  (- 23.8 + 760) torr

P_{H_2}  = 736.2 torr

Thus; the pressure (torr) of theH₂ gas is 736.2 torr
