A female had tubular pregnancy and had to remove her oviducts. Will this affect her in anyway with respect to reproduction ? jus
iogann1982 [59]

Reproduction will be highly affected.

Since there are two oviducts one will be removed as a result of the ectopic pregnancy.

Hence, there will be a defect in the carrying of the ovum from the ovary to the uterus. There will be delivery of the ovum only in the the unaffected oviduct. This can lead to non-fertility.

Ectopic pregnancy is a condition in which there is an implantation of the zygote in a location other than the the uterus.
