What evidence would most weaken the counterclaim presented here? One generally accepted rule of thumb is that students should do

ten minutes of homework per night for each grade level. Countless studies have shown that many students find homework to be boring, tiring, stressful, and frustrating. The time required to grade homework is yet another task that diverts a teacher’s attention from actually teaching. It is nearly impossible to know if the completed homework actually belongs to the student or has been copied from another.

The time required to grade homework is yet another task that diverts a teacher’s attention from actually teaching.

This claim can potentially weaken the claim, due to it becoming an unreliable source and just a filler. It could possibly bring down the whole claim in the first place.

Harlamova29_29 [7]
The intensive pronouns within the passage are myself, themselves, and itself, in that order. The impact of this language choice is that they add a certain degree of focus to the subject of each part of the paragraph; that is, they make it extra clear who is being or doing something, making the reader remember their salience more easily.

In Night, why was Moshe the Beadle forced to leave Sighet by Hungarian police?
tamaranim1 [39]

In 'Night', the narrator is Eliezer, a Hungarian boy who was 12 years old at the moment and who was living in Sighet. This town was part of Hungary during World War II, at the time this story was set (on the contrary now it is in Romania).

Moshe the Beadle was Eliezer's teacher of Jewish doctrine and, in fact, he was an inspiring and challenging educator for this kid. All foreign Jews were sent out of town by the Hungarian police, including Moshe, as part of the anti-Semitic acts generalized all over the nazi Europe. Hungary was one of Germany's allies during World War II, and obeyed the type of politics fostered by Hitler, contributing to spread attacks against Jews and ejections within its territory.
