construction = divide the figure into two parts.

now we have triangle abd and bdc.

first calculate the area of abd.

area of triangle= 1/2×base ×height

area of triangle= 1/2×18×7.5

area of triangle=67.5cm²

second calculate area of bdc

area of triangle=1/2×15.6×11.7

area of triangle=91.26cm²

area of the figure=area of abd + area of bdc

area of the figure=67.5cm²+ 91.26cm²

area of figure=158.76 cm².

An archer hits a bull’s-eye with a probability of 0.09, and the results of different attempts can be taken to be independent of
valkas [14]

Answer: Variance = 0.858

Step-by-step explanation: The variance formulae for a probability distribution is given below as

Variance = √npq

Where n = number of times experiment was performed = 9

p = probability of success = 0.09

q = probability of failure = 1 - p = 1 - 0.09 =0.91

Variance = √9×0.09×0.91

Variance = √0.7371

Variance = 0.858

What's the domain and range for (×+4)-1
Sonja [21]
\bf a^{-{ n}} \implies \cfrac{1}{a^{ n}}\qquad \qquad

\cfrac{1}{a^{ n}}\implies a^{-{ n}}\\
---------------\\
thus\\
(x+4)^{-1}\implies \cfrac{1}{x+4}
\\\\

\bf if\qquad \cfrac{1}{0} \implies undefined

so.. what value of "x" makes x+4 to 0?

the domain will be, all real numbers, except that value

about the range, "y" will take, whateve "x" can provide.. in this case... I think is all real numbers, except 0, because, if you give a few big values to "x", the fraction will simply have a bigger and bigger denominator, making the fraction smaller and smaller, ever approaching 0, but never getting there
