Therefore, function is even .

b.h(x)=\frac{f(x)-f(-x)}{2}

Replace x by -x

Then we get h(x)=\frac{f(-x)-f(x)}{2}=-\frac{f(x)-f(-x)}{2}

h(x)\neq h(-x)

Hence, function is odd.
