Hi,

To find area of rectangular prism do this.

a = 8 \\ b = 4 \\ c = 3 \\ s = 2 \times (a \times c) + 4 \times (a \times b) \\ s = 2 \times (8 \times 3) + 4 \times (8 \times 4) \\ s = 2 \times 24 + 4 \times 32 \\ s = 48 + 128 \\ s = 176

Hope this helps.

Vanessa throws a tennis ball in the air. the function h(t) = -16t2 + 45t + 7 represents the distance, in feet, that the ball is
antiseptic1488 [7]
Given that height, h(t) of a tennis ball is modeled by the equation h(t)=<span>-16t^2 + 45t + 7, the time taken for the ball to reach maximum height will found as follows:
at maximum height:
h'(t)=0
but from the equation:
h'(t)=-32t+45=0
solving for t we get
t=45/32
t=1.40625~1.4 seconds
Thus the time taken to reach maximum height is 1.4 seconds

How many solutions does the system of equations below have?<br><br> y= 3x + 4<br> 2y -8 = 6x
Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

infinitely many solutions (infinite solutions)

Step-by-step explanation:

2y - 8 = 6x

   +8    +8

-------------------------------

2y = 6x + 8

\frac{2y}{2} = \frac{6x}{2} + \frac{8}{2}

-------------------------------

y = 3x + 4

Because 3x + 4 = 3x + 4, there are infinitely many solutions to this system of equations. This is because they're the exact same equations. Any substitution for x will give you a true statement to y when compared to the other equation.
