Lets take a look at each option.

(I think it is A, but lets look at it together! :) )

A. The United States demonstrated strong support for Israel.

This is highly possible. What if a major nations just allied with your greatest enemy? They are now your enemy. By supporting Israel with weapons and money it makes it harder to wins wars for the Islamist.

B. Some of their leaders adopted Western styles and culture.

This might make them less angry. How can you encourage your men to fight an enemy if you are doing the same thing as your enemy?

C. Westerners profited from Middle Eastern natural resources.

They did, but so did the Middle Eastern countries. Everyone profits from oil, the seller and the buyer.

D. Westerners placed unfair tariffs on their exports.

They only tend to do this when the militant Islamist's do something to harm civilians or their own citizens. This is a possible option, but I do believe the answer is A.

I hope I have helped you! :)

Why entitlements are known as the "Third Rail of American Politics
Maksim231197 [3]

Answer:

The third rail of a nation's politics is a metaphor for any issue so controversial that it is "charged" and "untouchable" to the extent that any politician or public official who dares to broach the subject will invariably suffer politically. The metaphor comes from the high-voltage third rail in some electric railway systems.

How have citizen movements and social movements brought about political and social change
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

It is very important for citizens to reach for change in both political and social ideas because only through such change will people ever see an ever-continuing spiral of progress through time. This example is very well shown by the fight for the rights of women and the LGBTQ+ community, as well.
