Debriefing

Debriefing is a process in psychological research studies whereby the researcher informs the participant the true nature of the study- its purpose, aims, any deception involved and the justification for why deception was involved. In Juanita's case, the researcher debriefed her after the study  by explaining to her <span>why the experiment required deceiving by telling her that her answers were wrong when they were in fact correct.</span>
