Understanding Irony

Irony is disconnect from between what is expected and what occurs. These are 3 types of irony.  

Dramatic irony

Dramatic irony when an audience or reader knows more about the characters situation than the characters do.

Example: ⇒ The readers knows that the villain is the hero's father, but the hero does not.

Ex: Jerry took my phone! (Represents Dramatic Irony)

Ex: Steve push me! (Represents Dramatic Irony)
