Considering the image of triangle XYZ for a composition of a

  • 30° rotation

and a

  • 330° rotation both about point z

As

30° + 330° = 360°

It means, the figure has rotated one complete revolution. And now the figure is very much back to starting position.

Tests show that the hydrogen ion concentration of a sample of apple juice is 0.0003 and that of ammonia is 3.1 x 10^-9. Find the
scoundrel [369]
PH can be calculated using the following equation
pH = -log [H₃O⁺]
for apple juice the hydronium /hydrogen ion concentration is 0.0003
pH = -log (0.0003)
pH = 3.5
correct answer is C

For ammonia
pH = -log (3.1 x 10⁻⁹)
pH = 8.5
answer should be 8.5

How many Match sticks will be In Image 6?
zavuch27 [327]
19

In the first image, we are given 4 match sticks.

In the second image, we are given 7 match sticks. The difference between the match sticks is 3.

In the third image, we are given 10 match sticks. The difference between the match sticks again is 3.

If in the third image we are given 10 match sticks, and for every new image, there is another 3 match stick added, then in the sixth image, there must be 19 match sticks. Image 4: 10 + 3 = 13. Image 5: 13 + 3 = 16. Image 6: 16 + 3 = 19.

Answer = 19. Hope this helps. :)
