Hi mate! You don’t deserve no answers. I want to fully answer each of your questions. Let’s see...

Where it is: It’s the highest mountain in the U.S. state of Washington.

What they are: The volcanoes with historical eruptions include: Mount Rainier, Glacier Peak, Mount Baker, Mount Hood, Lassen Peak, and Mount Shasta.

How they formed: The Cascade Volcanoes were formed by the subduction of the Juan de Fuca, Explorer and the Gorda Plate (remnants of the much larger Farallon Plate) under the North American Plate along the Cascadia subduction zone.

I hope this helps you with your assignment!
If you have further questions or need more explanation, I’ll be happy to assist you. Have a great night!

The realative location of the Cascade Range are part of a 1,300 km (800 mi) chain of volcanoes, which extends from northern California to southern British Columbia. The volcanoes are Mount Rainier, Glacier Peak, Mount Baker, Mount Hood, Lassen Peak, and Mount Shasta. Renewed volcanic activity in the Cascade Arc, such as the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens, has offered a great deal of evidence about the structure of the Cascade Arc.They we're form by the subduction of the Juan de Fuca, Explorer and the Gorda Plate (remnants of the much larger Farallon Plate) under the North American Plate along the Cascadia subduction zone.

What was the impact of thefukushima nuclear accident on global attitudes towards nuclear energy?
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

The F u k u s h i m a nuclear accident gave ''wind in the back'' to the opponents of the production of nuclear energy because of the dangers from it.

Explanation:

Nuclear energy is produced via nuclear reactors. They are very expensive to be constructed and maintained, but the expenses are balanced very quickly because the nuclear reactors produce much more energy than any other type of facility for this purpose. It is also the cleanest and most environmentally friendly from any major type of production of energy.

Unfortunately, the production of nuclear energy doesn't come without risks. Even though very rare, accidents do happen, and when they do they cause much more damage than any other facilities for the production of energy. A more recent example is the accident in F u k u s h i m a, Japan, which resulted in a large-scale movement of people out of the area, abandoning of everything in the surroundings, and the area will not be suitable for usage for a very, very long time because of the very high levels of radiation. The opponents of nuclear energy production used this accident to make a point, especially cause it was one that happened in one of the most advanced countries, and what kind of consequences it had there, let alone if it happened in other parts of the world.

When two plates of continental lithosphere collide
Nadya [2.5K]

When two plates collide, mountains start forming. The plates push on each other, "curving" the edges. The taller the mountain, the longer the plates have been colliding.

What is the highest point in Canada
Alla [95]

Answer:

Mount Logan

Explanation:

Canada is a country that is roughly divided into several major geographic zones. Some of them are lowlands, while some are mountain ranges. On the eastern part of the country lies the highest point, that being Mount Logan.

Mount Logan has elevation of 5,959 meters. It is the highest peak of Canada, and the second highest on all of the North American continent. Apart from Mount Logan, there are other ten peaks that are also over 5,000 meters of elevation.

The mountain has two large glaciers on it, as apart from being very high, it is also located on very latitude, so it has perfect conditions for development and existence of glaciers.
