Answer:

- Bile's story.

Explanation:

The narrator compares a picture of herself to a photo of her father. The photos show the distance the daughter feels with her father. The father's photo shows his history of being a jaw-clenching, wide-eyed man who drank bile. In the narrator's picture, she is a small innocent child holding an ice cream cone. The daughter feels disconnected from her father because she doesn't believe he never had the time to be an innocent child. The characterization also shows how suffering is a part of their family's life. The daughter knows how to respond to her father when offered the bile, because like her father she knows how to survive.

Identify a good strategy for editing essays for spelling errors. A. Correct the essay while prewriting to catch errors early. B.
Zepler [3.9K]

Hey there!~

I would say the best answer is Option B. With drafting you really shouldn't be trying your hardest... just kind of trying to get your ideas out. Once that's done you can start checking for mistakes. Kind of like how I did with this answer; I wrote it out, and then came back after I was finished and fixed all the imperfections.

Hope this helps!

What is one purpose of the simile in this poem
Tamiku [17]
Hello there!

There is no poem listed, however, I could help explain how similes are used in poems and also what exactly would be the purpose of using (similes).

* Similes are used to first, they are known to be used as (: like,as). This would signify comparing two things, and making a resemblance of them.

* When they're used as (:like,as), people would use (:like) to compare, as we considered above.

Let's take for example:

I was so full, I felt (like) I ate a elephant.

He was so tall, he was (as) tall as a building.

These are some examples that can be used in using a (simile).

So, in this poem you didn't post above, try finding these key points in the poem, to help you find the one purpose of the simile in the poem your read.
