The three methods people can take to protect their skin from the sun are:

1. Sunscreen: Sunscreen is applied to the open areas of your skin where clothes do not cover the oil in the sunscreen blocks the sun from hitting your skin.

2. Sunblock: Sunblock is like sunscreen only protects your skin much better and for a longer period of time.

3.Exercise before 10 a.m. or 4 p.m.: Use these times to exercise because before and after is usually when the sun is at one of it's highest heat rates.


One benefit that exposure to sunlight provides:

Exposure to sunlight provides the benefit of Vitamin D synthesis, vitamin D is a critical nutrient.
