The nullification crisis  refers to the sectional   political crisis of united states that occur during the period 1832-33 when Andrew jackson was the president of USA .This crisis was a confrontation between the federal government and the south Carolina state

The Kansas-Nebraska Act -This act was passed in the year 1854 by US Congress.As per the act the decision to permit slavery in their borders rested in the hands of  people in the territories of Kansas and Nebraska.This act was against the Missouri compromise of 1820
