You would solve for x. Example- 5-x=12, you would do the opposite sign of the number with the variable on the same side, which is 5. 5 is positive so you would subtract 5 from both sides. So subtract 5 from 5 and subtract 5 from 12. Then you would be left with -x=7. Finally, you would divide -1 from both sides. Concluding with x=-7

You solve for x to get your answer each time. For example, the first one. You would isolate the 4x by moving the 10 to the other side by subtracting 10 from both sides. This will give you 4x = -36. Then you divide both sides by 4 to get x = -9.

Copy and complete the table of each values for each equation
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Step-by-step explanation:

Given function is y = –x.

Substitute the values of x in the function and find the values of y.

y = –x

At x = –2,

y = –(–2) = 2

At x = –1,

y = –(–1) = 1

At x = 0,

y = –(0) = 0

At x = 1,

y = –1(1) = –1

At x = 2,

y = –(2) = –2

Now, substitute the values of y in the table.

The image of the table is attached below.
