The answer is yes. here is how:
circumference of a circle is 2pi*r
perimeter of a square is 4a, a being the length of each side.
when 2pi*r=4a, r=(2a)/pi
area of the circle is pi*r^2=pi(2a/pi)^2=(4/pi)*a^2
area of the square is a^2
Because 4/pi is bigger than 1, (4/pi)*a^2 is always larger than a^2

Solve for x. Show all your work
olasank [31]

42°

Step-by-step explanation:

\angle BAE =180\degree -132\degree

(Angles in linear pair)

\angle BAE =48\degree

\angle AEB =90\degree..(\because \overrightarrow{EC}\perp\overrightarrow{ED})

\angle ABE = 180\degree-(48\degree+90\degree)

(Angle sum postulate of a triangle)

\implies\angle ABE = 180\degree-138\degree

\implies\angle ABE = 42\degree

\angle CDE =\angle ABE = 42\degree

(corresponding angles)

\implies x\degree=\angle CDE

(vertical angles)

\implies x\degree=42\degree

\implies x=42

Find the given angle to the nearest degree.
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

\alpha=44\°

Step-by-step explanation:

By definition, the tangent of an angle is the quotient between the side opposite the angle and the side adjacent to the angle

In other words:

tan(\alpha) = \frac{opposite}{adjacent}

In this triangle, the length of the side adjacent to the desired angle is 50, and the length of the opposite side is 48

So:

tan(\alpha) = \frac{48}{50}\\\\tan(\alpha)= 0.96

Finally

\alpha =arctan(0.96)\\\\\alpha=44\°

The formula for the circumference C of a circle with radius r is C = 2πr. Which of the following is a formula for π (pi) of the
sweet [91]
<span>the answer: the main condition can be found one of the following given methods: if A = B*C*D, if we want to find the value of B, so B = A /C*D, the similar method can be applied to find the value of C an D. These are C= A/ B*D and D = A /C*B in our case we have C = 2*Pi* R, if we want to find the value of Pi, it is Pi = C / 2*R the true answer is D</span>
