How do I make this an actual skin tone bc idk how and I’m afraid of failing art

Answer: Hey art was my favorite subjects, I know it's hard but it can be fun. I has this struggle to. Skin tones was one of my hardest things to do in art. I usually blend different colors and that didn't work. What I did was search up videos or online how to do skin tones in either paint or colored pencils. They really help a lot. I can send you the link to one of the cites or videos I used that helped me. I hope this helps. I think you are going to a great start. It looks really good.Your not going to fail art

Um if your going to make the face black, I say add some brown and black instead of read

Maybe because they thought ink would look sketchy. Back then, most people did not like sketchy art, be in the modern world, now we do.
