First, find angle ACB: m∠ACB=24-16=8
next, use the law of sine: sin8/7600=sin16/BC, BC=7600*sin16/sin8=15052
use law of sine to find CD: sin24=CD/CB, CD=BC*sin24=15052*sin24=6122

please use a calculator to double check my answers.

Find the area of the following trapezium:
sdas [7]

Answer:

619.5cm2

Step-by-step explanation:

Based on what you defined as the parallel sides been 26cm and 33cm and the height been 21cm.

Hence the are of trapezium is half sum of the parallel sides × height.

Expressed mathematically we have:

1/2( 26 +33) × 21 = 1/2 ( 59) × 21 = (59×21)/2= 619.5cm2

Your teacher asks you to find a recipe that includes two ingredients with a rate of 2 units over 3 units.
cupoosta [38]
For cooking "The Great Cheesecake", a good chef need 2 kilos of flour and 3 kilos of cheese, more talent and a bunch of joy.

<span>If you needed to triple the recipe, you'll need 6 kilos of flour and 9 kilos of cheese, but the rate wouldn't change because:

Simplify (3 to the square of 6)to the square of 18
Zina [86]

Answer:

Evaluate.

Step-by-step explanation:

If you attempt to do the equation 3^{\sqrt{6} }^{^{\sqrt{18} } }, you will get a very long and complicated answer (which is 2.2233078e+21), so I am assuming that is not the question.

If you were to do (3^{\sqrt{6} } ) (\sqrt{18} ), you would get a more rational answer of 62.566.

If you would comment on this post or be more specific on what exactly the question aims to ask, that would be a huge help. :)

A chemical plant is required to maintain sulfur dioxide levels in the working environment atmosphere at an average level of no m
grigory [225]

Answer:

1. Type I error = 0.0241

2. Power of test = 0.2146

Step-by-step explanation:

1.

Test statistic:

z = (x- µ)/(σ/√n)

  = (0.15 - 0.125)/(0.04/√10)

  = 0.025/0.0126

 = 1.9764

p-value = 1- NORM.S.DIST(1.9764, 1)

            = 0.0241

Type I error = 0.0241

2.

If true µ₁ = 0.14,

then Power, (1 - β) is given as;

1 - β = P(X ≥ 0.15 | µ₁ = 0.14)

      = P(Z ≥ (0.15 - 0.14)/(0.04/√10) )

      = P(Z ≥ 0.79)

      = 1 - P(Z < 0.79)

Using excel function :

  = 1 - NORM.S.DIST(0.79, 1)

  = 1 - 0.7854

  = 0.2146

Power of test = 0.2146
