The correct answer is Franklin Roosevelt.

Franklin Roosevelt took over as president in 1932, when the Great Depression was in full swing in America. When elected, FDR promised America a "New Deal." This New Deal would consist of government programs that would decrease unemployment, fix institutions that failed during the late 1920's, and help the American economy recover. These programs are considered somewhat successful, as unemployment will drop significantly after the New Deal is implemented.

What is the main purpose of the cherokee nation v. Georgia
zloy xaker [14]

Answer:

Cherokee Nation v. Georgia (1831) asked the Supreme Court to determine whether a state may impose its laws on Native Americans and their territory. In the late 1820s, the Georgia legislature passed laws designed to force the Cherokee people off their historic land. The Supreme Court refused to rule on whether the Georgia state laws were applicable to the Cherokee people. Instead, the Court ruled that it did not have jurisdiction over the case because the Cherokee Nation, was a “domestic dependent nation” instead of a “foreign state."

how are the federalists and anti-federlist debates still relevant today? please use real life examples (court cases etc.)
Alla [95]

The federalists wanted a constitution that would be able to defend citizens from abuses of power. But they saw no incompatibility between individual rights and the formation of a minimally structured central power to confront the complex problems. In opposition were the anti-federalists ,  they insisted that states should be free and independent and saw the creation of the United States as a new form of tyranny.

This is important to show how the US can be free and democratic about the opinions.
