The constant infighting between Huascar and Atahualpa made the Mexican society internally very weak. This aspect of the Mexican society made them vulnerable to attack with the arrival of the Spanish in the sixteenth century. The Mexican society was so vulnerable that they would have been defeated by any other country willing to take control during the sixteenth century. There was also the difficulty of controlling the diseases that were attacking the people of Mexico during that time. It is also true that the Mexican army was far inferior to the Spanish army.

What was the nature of the Japanese government between the Gempei Wars and the Onin War?
guajiro [1.7K]

Ok, so..

What I will do: Describe the nature of the Japanese government between the Gempei wars and the Onin War. What was the nature of the Japanese society, and economy during the period of the daimyos.

The Japanese government between the Gempei wars adn the Onin Wars consisted of the Minamoto and the Taira. Eventually the Minamoto gained control and destroyed the Taira and the Taira house faction. The society and economy of Japan suffered during these times of war. Battles raged within Japan and destroyed many farmlands that were a major part in Japan’s economy. The Minamoto leader started to kill members of his own family and his powerful generals in fear that someone would kill him and take his spot. This crippled the Minamoto and started the feudal age in Japan.

N what two ways did technological innovations lead to the age of exploration?
AfilCa [17]
Caravel:The Caravel was a ship that had many uses. These ships were from small to medium. They could be used as cargo ships, warships, patrol or dispatch boats and also pirate ships. They were mainly used for fishing. The Caravel was from 50 to 200 tons. These ships were cheap and you could get them in shape for working very easily. They were known for their speed and maneuverability. So these ships were used by explorers to explore.

Galleon:This ship came was developed/came in use during the 16th century. The Galleon was developed from ships such as the Caravel and Carrack. These ships were known for their ability to change during different circumstances. So if you had a Galleon and you were in times of peace you could use it to do trading, fishing, etc. If you were in times of war you could convert it and make it a war ship. These ships had more ribs and bracings which helped them withstand gunfire. So these ships were good because they were fast and could easily convert/change as per the circumstances.
