Answer:

Isaac traveled 12.80 miles.

Step-by-step explanation:

An Apache taxi company charges $2.50 to pick up a passenger.

Taxi company charges addition per mile = $1.95

Therefore, for x miles charges will be = $1.95x

Now total charges taken by the company will be

c(x) = 1.95x + 2.50

If c(x) = $27.46 then we have to calculate the distance covered by passenger will be calculated as

c(x) = 1.95x + 2.50

27.46 = 1.95x + 2.50

27.46 - 2.50 = 1.95x

\frac{24.96}{1.95}=x

x = 12.8 miles

Therefore, Isaac traveled 12.80 miles.

Y= 2.50 + 1.95( x)

27.46 = 2.50 + 1.95(x)
+2.50     -2.50
29.96 = 1.95(x)
/ 1.95     / 1 .95

x = 15.4 Miles total

kow [346]

Answer:

5P5×20P15

Step-by-step explanation:

A school bus has 25 seats, with 5 rows of 5 seats.

15 students from the first grade and 5 students from the second grade travel in the bus.

second-grade students occupy the first row.

The 5 students of second grade are to be seated in 5 seats,this can be done in:

5P5 ways where P is the permutation

Now 15 students from first grade are to be arranged in remaining 20 seats

This can be done in:

20P15 ways

Hence, total ways student can be seated is:
