Travis glared at him for a full ten minutes.
that sounds like he's pretty mad
Answer:
In the beginning of the chapter he started out in a nice peaceful place and calm. He was taken he stayed in the cage for a while which would have been hard because hes used to being free kinda like all the open space. And he started to feel sad kinda for being caged up and hungry and he knew he wasn't the leader anymore as he was hit multiple time with the club. And he started to changed as the environment changed. At the end on the chapter he has a whole different environment now its he's not the leader anymore for example "At the first step upon the cold surface, Buck's feet sank into a white mushy something very like mud. He sprang back with a snort. More of this white stuff falling through the air. He shook himself, but more of it fell upon him. He sniffed it curiously, then licked some up on his tongue." Its saying like he's never been in the winter with snow.

Also they would work hard in order to put their kids through school. This is most apparent in “My Father Sits in the Dark” and “The Egg”.
#3) Choose two of the works you have read in this unit and explain the reversal of the parent-child roles within them.
Answer: The two works that have this type of reversed relationship where the child behaves more like the parent are “The Egg” and "Mother Tongue”. The reason being that in both of this the child is more grounded and has a much clearer view on what is going on in their environment. For example “The Egg” where the narrator is aware of the ambition, sacrifice and the failures that his father goes through. In “Mother Tongue” the daughter is the one that has to speak in her mother's stead because her english is very limited.
I hope it helps, Regards. </span>
