Y equals 3/2x plus 10 (4,12)
4 is x and 12 is y
y=3/2x+10
12=3/2(4)+10
12=3/8+10
12=0.375+10
12=10.375
10 is not equivalent/equal to 10.375

Cafe 103 is equidistant and colinear from metric school and angles lab. The metric school is located at (4,6) on a coordinate pl
Anastaziya [24]
A point is aquidistance from two other points when the distance of the point from each of the other two points are equal.

Two or more points are said to be colinear when the points lie on the same line.

Given that <span>Cafe 103 is equidistant and colinear from metric school and angles lab, this means that Cafe 103 is located at the midpoint of the line joining the points representing the metric school and angles lab.

Let the coordinates of angles lab be (x, y), then
(7, \ 2)=\left( \frac{x+4}{2}, \  \frac{y+6}{2}  \right) \\  \\ \Rightarrow x+4=2(7) \ and \ y+6=2(2) \\  \\ \Rightarrow x+4=14 \ and \ y+6=4 \\  \\ \Rightarrow x=14-4 \ and \ y=4-6 \\  \\ \Rightarrow x=10 \ and \ y = -2

Therefore, the coordinate of angles lab is (10, -2)

what is the length of the diagonal of a non-regulation tennis court with length 20 feet and width 15 feet?
Semmy [17]

Answer:

25 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Basically that non-regulation tennis court is a rectangle. You want to know the length of the diagonal. If you draw it on paper, you'll see that this then become 2 triangles... of which you have 2 sides, and are seeking the hypotenuse.  So....

H² = A² + B²

H² = 20² + 15² = 400 + 225 = 625

H = 25 feet.
