If CO2 was in very small amounts then it would be the limiting factor of photosynthesis, this means the process will take place at a much slower rate

The concentration of glucose in active regions of the brain underlies the usefulness of a(n):a. MRIb. Brain lesionc. EEGd. PET s
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

The answer is D.

Explanation:

Out of the options given in the question, the best one for this example is the Positron Emission Tomography (PET Scane) because it is stated that the active regions of the brain contain high concentration of glucose.

The reason is that a substance similar to glucose is used as an indicator in PET scans to show the part of the body where the inspection is required by emitting gamma rays.

I hope this answer helps.

Toucans disperse seeds of key forest species such as juçara palms by eating the fruit and defecating the seeds in new locations,
brilliants [131]

Answer:

Toucans disperse seeds of key forest species such as juçara palms by eating the fruit and defecating the seeds in new locations, sometimes more than a kilometer away. If there are no toucans, is the genetic diversity of palms likely to increase or decrease within forest fragments (and why)?

The genetic diversity of palm will totally decrease as a result of absence of Toucans dispersal of palms seeds which would not allow the seeds to be randomly grown anywhere. Dispersal has great impact on biodiversity of fruits because it enables the distribution of seeds to be grown everywhere

Lunna [17]
d. Mutations

Mutations are a natural phenomenon that are alterations or slight modifications that occurs in the DNA. It actually is typical for these modifications to occur in most DNA in our chromosomes. Though the changes both intrinsically and extrinsically can only be the result of such need, insignificant or have an insidious effect. It can’t be avoided and it usually happens every time cells undergoes mitosis and meiosis. Further, most of these modifications in the copied cells are good. Lastly, the mutation process happens in the basic structure that shapes every cell and every creature so it just a natural phenomenon, mostly.
