Which section of our country's population is illeligible to vote
PtichkaEL [24]

First off, there are a few requirments for voting eligibility, and they differ by state. The most common answer is citizens under the age of 18. They don't really want kids who aren't in tune to what's going on in the country who will vote for someone who will potentially make a BIG impact in the nation. They also don't want convicted felons/criminals voting.

The specified requirements are as follows:

Voting eligibility:

 • A legal U.S. citizen
 • A resident of the state you're voting in
 • Are 18 years or older by the time of the specific election
 • Live for 30 days prior to the elction in the area of the precinct (voting station) you vote in

You're NOT eligible to vote if:

 • Legally declared "mentally incompetent" by a court
 • Registered to vote in a different state than the one you are voting in
 • In prison, incarcerated, jail, etc.
 • Convcited of a felony or on parole

Hope ths helps!

Hello,

Abraham ran against a very divided Democratic Party.

He didn't necessarily get people to agree with his side, he had the unions support which was anti-slavery. In addition, he also had the support of everyone but the confederate states, including the slaves which also fought for their freedom.

Hope this helps.
