Strategic plans are usually put in place in order to increase efficiency and to reduce cost. In the scenario given above, Iris has discovered a loophole in the IT strategic plan, because he is aware that a technology that is meant to reduce cost is not going to do so. Because of this, it is right for Iris to speak up and make that fact known. If he refuses to do this, the goal of the strategic plan to reduce cost will be defeated.

Nikolay [14]

Answer:

The indifference point is 5,895 units

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

In-house:

Unitary variable cost= $11.5

Fixed cost= 30,000

Buy:

Unitary variable cost= $16.25

Fixed cost= 2,000

To calculate the indifference point, we need to establish the total cost formulas for each option:

In-house:

Total cost= 30,000 + 11.5x

x= number of units

Buy:

Total cost= 2,000 + 16.25x

x= number of untis

Now, we equal both formulas and isolate x:

30,000 + 11.5x = 2,000 + 16.25x

28,000 = 4.75x

5,895 = x

The indifference point is 5,895 units

A decline in foreign demand for U.S. goods: Suppose the European and Japanese economies succumb to a recession and reduce their
posledela

Answer:

The decrease in the remote interest for US products will lessen the net fares of the US economy,

AD = Consumption + speculation + government use + Net fares,

As on factor net fare decay the AD bend will move leftward in the short run. So in short run the genuine GDP fall beneath than the degree of potential GDP.

The short run impact

Since a long time ago run Aggregate Supply Short-run Aggregate Supply PRICE Initial Aggregate Demand Final Aggregate Demand Real GDP (Billions of dollars)

The underlying balance was given by the crossing point of the underlying total interest, SRAS and LRAS at E1. Presently the balance changes from E1 to E2 due to leftward move in the AD bend.

Therefore ,the costs level abatement and furthermore the genuine GDP level.

Over the long haul, firms will diminish the lessening the creation as request is less, so the interest for work likewise falls, which lead to diminish the wages of laborers, As interest for work and wages falls, the creation will fall and supply will move leftward.

From the outline, it is indicated that new harmony at point E3 is the place potential genuine GDP accomplished yet at an even lower cost ( from P2 to P3), this implies collapse in the economy.

Oriole Company purchased equipment for $41600. Sales tax on the purchase was $2496. Other costs incurred were freight charges of
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

The cost of the equipment is $45,416.

Explanation:

The cost of a newly purchased equipment is the addition of all relevant costs uncured in order to make the equipment ready for use.

The cost of the equipment includes costs such as purchase price, tax paid on the purchase, installation costs, etc.

However, any cost incurred to repair any damage to an equipment during installation is not part of equipment cost. Such repair costs are just ordinary expenses that are charged to the income statement during the period.

Based on the explanation above, the cost of the equipment by Oriole Company can be calculated as follows:

Equipment cost = Purchase price + Sales tax + Freight charges + Installation costs ..................... (1)

Since,

Purchase price = $41,600

Sales tax on the purchase = $2.496.

Freight charges = $624

Installation costs = $696.

Substituting the values into equation (1), we have:

Equipment cost = $41,600 + $2,496 + $624 + $696 = $45,416

Therefore, the cost of the equipment is $45,416.

Rex's doughnuts can produce only 100 doughnuts a day. the variable cost incurred per unit is $2 and fixed costs incurred per day
vladimir1956 [14]
The total cost that is incurred by producing 100 doughnuts is equal to the sum of the variable cost and the fixed cost. The total variable cost is,
    total variable cost = ($2/doughnut)(100 doughnuts) = $200

The total cost is,
   Total cost = total variable cost + total fixed cost
     TC = $200 + $500 = $700

Equating the cost and the revenue,
     TC = TR
     $700 = (100)(x)

The value of x from the equation is $7.
