Which two actions happen when bonds in ATP molecules are broken?
pochemuha

The ATP molecule is a high energy molecule. When a molecule of ATP breakdown, it produces chemical as well as thermal energy. The type of energy produced is mainly depends on the application for example, if the ATP breaks down to ADP, it produces thermal energy and if couples with a cellular process it produces chemical potential.

Our body needs energy to carry out cellular functions and the energy produced in a form of ATP is taken by cells to perform functions.

Click and drag each label to the accurately identify the components of the visceral baroreflex
QveST [7]

The right answers are on the attached image.

Baroreflex is a reflex triggered when a baroreceptor is stimulated. In the human body, baroreceptors are found in the carotid sinuses and the sinus of the aorta. These receptors are stimulated during changes in blood pressure. Baroreceptors are sensitive to the stretching of blood vessels.

As blood pressure rises, baroreceptors transmit nerve impulses to the vasomotor center of the medulla oblongata, which is then inhibited. This results in vasodilatation of the blood vessels to reduce blood pressure.

AleksandrR [38]

Answer:

an atom or molecule with a net electric charge due to the loss or gain of one or more electrons.

Explanation:

An ion is defined as an atom or molecule that has gained or lost one or more of its valence electrons, giving it a net positive or negative electrical charge. In other words, there is an imbalance in the number of protons (positively charged particles) and electrons (negatively charged particles) in a chemical species
