$4.50 because 8x5 ( friends times tickets) is 40 and 62.50-40 ( total cost minus money spent for tickets ) is 22.50 so 22.50/5 ( money left over divided by number of friends ) is $4.50

So if 5 friends bought one ticket each which was $8 a ticket means that they spent $40 alone on tickets. But you know that they spent $62.50 all together as a group. So with that being said to find out how much they spent all together as a group on popcorn you want to subtract $62.50 From $40.00.  Which equals $22.50. But to find out how much they spent separately on one bag each you want to divide $22.50 by 5 to get the answer you are looking for which is $4.50 on one small bag of popcorn each. I hope i helped!

2. Triangle ABC is equilateral and AB = 6x + 3, BC = 8x - 1,2. AB =
kherson [118]

Answer:

AB = BC = AC = 15

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the triangle is equilateral then the 3 sides are congruent.

Equate any 2 sides and solve for x , that is

AC = AB , so

11x - 7 = 6x + 3 ( subtract 6x from both sides )

5x - 7 = 3 ( add 7 to both sides )

5x = 10 ( divide both sides by 5 )

x = 2

Then

AC = 11x - 7 = 11(2) - 7 = 22 - 7 = 15 , thus

AB = BC = AC = 15

On a coordinate plane, a parabola opens up. It goes through (negative 1, 0), has a vertex at (1, negative 4), and goes through (
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

All real values of x where x < −1.

Step-by-step explanation:

There is a turning point at x= 1 and f(x) = -4 and it open upwards.

So it decreases for all real values of x  where x < 1. But it passes through the point (-1,  0) after which the values of the function become negative.

So the answer is all real values where x < -1.

Total balls: 6 + 4 + 3 = 13

First pick green = total green / total balls = 4/13

adter picking the first ball there are 12 balls left.

Picking red = total red/ total balls left = 6/12 = 1/2

probability of picking both = 4/13 x 1/2 = 4/26 = 2/13
