The World Health Organization (WHO) felt the need to modify and upgrade from ICD-10 to ICD-11 since it is out of date. The organization planned to change the ICD-11 timeframe from 2015 to 2018. It is a medical coding system for monitoring diseases, diagnoses, and symptoms.
