16-9=7
So, 7+9=16.

If we add to 9 only 1 (out of those 7) we have then 10, remaining 6.
9+1=10

Now, if to 10 we add the remaining 6 we will have the final 16.
10+6=16

16-9=7 <=> 9+7=16 <=> (9+1)+6=16
