Of course, we're not going to use patiently because the ~ly indicates an adverb (adverbs are modifiers to verbs, and there's clearly no action being preformed here which is being done in a patient manner or anything like that)

Here, we are comparing Seth to Ben. Because of this, we use the comparative form, more patient. An important part of that is how it can be followed by than.
The most patient form, which is superlative, says that Seth would be more patient than anyone else in an aforementioned group, so this doesn't apply to this sentence. You could use it in something like "Seth is the most patient out of all of his friends."

C. more patient

Nataly_w [17]

Incomplete question. However, I provided an explanation about Speed reading.

Explanation:

The term 'speed reading' is often classified as the ability to read a text very quickly. In other words, it is a method of boosting one's reading abilities. It includes;

 • skimming: involves quickly brushing through the pages or contents of a text so as to get an overview of what is contained in the entire text.
 • scanning: involves looking for specific details in a text; in other words searching guiding your eyes to find a particular subject.

What nationality does Miss Muir proclaim to be? In behind the mask
sladkih [1.3K]

Answer: Scotch

Explanation:

Conversation between Lucia and Miss Muir(when she came in town and Bella introduced her to Lucia) from the book:

Lucia: "You were punctual, Miss Muir, which pleases me. I'm a sad invalid, as Lady Sydney told you, I hope; so that Miss Coventry's lessons will be directed by my niece, and you will go to her for directions, as she knows what I wish. You will excuse me if I ask you a few questions, for Lady Sydney's note was very brief, and I left everything to her judgment."

Miss Muir:"Ask anything you like, madam," answered the soft, sad voice.

Lucia:"You are Scotch, I believe."

Miss Muir:"Yes, madam."

Lucia:"Are your parents living?"

Miss Muir: "I have not a relation in the world."
