The correct answers are 1. I enjoy visiting Chicago, where you can go to Millenium Park and 5. The baker was disappointed when they burned the muffin batch.

Explanation:

Pronouns include words such as they, we, I, etc. that represent a noun. Additionally, in sentences, there is a pronoun shift if the sentence starts with one pronoun, and then the pronoun is abruptly changed, which is considered an error.

This error can be seen in the sentence "I enjoy visiting Chicago, where you can go to Millenium Park" because the speaker uses the pronoun "I" (first-person pronoun) and then changes to "you" (second-person pronoun), and in the sentence "The baker was disappointed when they burned the muffin batch" because the pronoun "he" (the baker) is changed to "they."

In "The Jilting of Granny Weatherall", what is the story's theme?
kakasveta [241]

By being privy to Granny’s death, the reader can infer much about her life. The title describes the enormous hurt and humiliation that has secretly festered in her mind and heart for sixty years. Her great pride was devastated by her jilting; although she married a good man, raised a family, and managed a farm by herself after her husband’s death, she never totally got over the shock and disappointment of George’s rejection. The fact that she has saved George’s letters suggests how much he continued to mean to her in her heart and how the pain of her jilting remained with her for sixty years.

He got out of his punishments, given by his Aunt Polly whom he lives with. His cousin Sid, whom he also lives with informed Aunt Polly with all of Tom’s mischief. Trying to keep what they have seen a secret, Tom suffers with nightmares and a guilty conscience. Meanwhile, he has fallen in love with a new girl in school, Becky Thatcher, which completely ignored him and broke his heart. Tom and his friends decided to escape their life of misery and pain, and stick by with each other until death. They planned another one of their adventures of becoming pirates and set sail to Jefferson’s Island.

They stayed there until they started getting homesick, Tom returned home to find Aunt Polly worrying about him and planning his funeral.
