Almost all cells in an animal (except gametes) have two sets of chromosomes. This means that animal cells have two homologous copies of each chromosome, usually one from the mother and one from the father. Such organisms are called diploids. Humans are also diploid organisms which means that they carry two complete sets of chromosomes: one set of 23 chromosomes from their father and one set of 23 chromosomes from their mother. The two sets combined provide a full complement of 46 chromosomes. The haploid cells are gametes (sperm or egg cells) which contain one set of chromosomes, in case of human 23.

The answer is 2. This is why their autosomal cells are referred to as diploid in chromosome number. The gametes have only one set of chromosomes. The homologous pair (sister chromosome) separate during meiosis I. If there was an extra chromosome in addition to this set then this would cause a condition called aneuploidy.

Maybe it’s because in order the get the same apple you breed more of that apple? It would take less time than natural selection since the genes of that certain apple may not appear for a few generations. If this makes any sense let me know because I’m just as confused as you are.

Which of these values would most likely be the heritability of body mass index (BMI) in a developing country with a large gap be
ANTONII [103]

Which of these values would most likely be the heritability of body mass index (BMI) in a developing country with a large gap between nutrition and health care available to the rich and poor?

a. 0.33

b. -0.88

c. 0.99

d. 0.0001

e. 1.3

Answer:

a. 0.33

Explanation:

Body Mass Index is defined as the measure of fat depending on the height and weight of individuals. It is being calculated as: BMI=\frac{mass_{kg}}{height_{m^2}}

The most likely heritability of body mass index(BMI) in a developing country with a large gap between nutrition and health care will be 0.33.

These is because in developing countries especially countries experiencing rapid economic growth as illustrated by the annual GDP growth rate are likely to have widely ranging lifestyles due to influences of the burgeoning economy, Therefore, there are greater chances for the rich to have access to the basic requirements and necessities of life whereas the poor are limited with either low or no access to adequate nutrition and health care.

Explain at least two advantages and two disadvantages associated with the use of nuclear power?
poizon [28]
Well, first off we would have more unlimited power supply and we would be able to get it easier because, the sun can produce harmful RB rays, all we would need to do is process it through a machine that can make it into a nuclear radiation rod that could be put into every electrical thing on this planet. We can also kill every one with the fire of a missile, and we could wipe the electrical currents of a nation out in one go.
