I think the answer is 12 because the greatest common factor of 24 and 36 is 12.

Hope this helped☺☺

(That means each goody bag will have 2 pencils and 3 erasers)

Find slope for 2x+5y=8?
Nitella [24]
First thing, you need to transform this equation to the form of y = ax + b

So you get:
2x + 5y = 8
5y = -2x + 8
y =  -\frac{2}{5} x +  \frac{8}{5}

In the form of y = ax + b, a is the slope.
In y = -\frac{2}{5} x + \frac{8}{5}, you can see "- \frac{2}{5} x", and always the number before x is the slope
So, the slope of 2x + 5y = 8 is - \frac{2}{5}

Hope this Helps :)

If synthetic division reveals a zero, why should we try that value again as a possible solution?
