"Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" is a popular sermon that was preached by Jonathan Edwards in Enfield, Connecticut on 8th July 1741. In the sermon, he made convincing appeals to sinners to realize that judgment awaits them, and that God's judgment will be more fierce than they can ever imagine.  Jonathan Edwards was a Puritan. As such he held to Reformed Theology. Asides his preaching ministry, he was also a philosopher.
