Why are all prime numbers odd except 2?<span>But if a number is divisible only by itself and by 1, then it is prime. So, because allthe other even numbers are divisible by themselves, by 1, and by 2, they are allcomposite (just as all the positive multiples of 3, except 3, itself, are composite).hope it helps</span>
