A cell wall is a permeable layer found in plant cells which acts as a membrane through which water molecules can pass through while animal cells do not have cell walls.. they just have a cell membrane which is selectively permeable to some chemicals or substances.. water does not move from the region of higher to lower concentration in animal cells

In short, plant cells have cell walls that allow osmosis while animal cells do not have cell walls for osmosis to take place

hope it helps you :)

Instead in our hands... something else happens rills or groove shaped lines are formed in our fingers.. it is an adaptation for our body to provide for some friction in water...

Alligators life cycle compared to a human
Levart [38]

Answer:

Alligators: Growth depends greatly on the surrounding environment, including temperature, and sexual maturity is reached at approximately 6 feet long. The life span varies greatly for these large reptiles, averaging 35 to 50 years for wild alligators and 60 to 70 years for crocodiles.

Humans:In summary, the human life cycle has six main stages: foetus, baby, child, adolescent, adult and elderly. Although we describe the human life cycle in stages, people continually and gradually change from day to day throughout all of these stages.

Which immune component is deficient in a child who has a congenital immunodeficiency that impairs b lymphocyte function?
Artist 52 [7]

Neutrophils component is deficient in a child who has a congenital immunodeficiency that impairs <u>B lymphocyte</u> function.

Neutrophils- A specific kind of white blood cell that aids in the body's defense against infection and is crucial to the immune system. White blood cells are one of the initial immune cells to react when bacteria or viruses enter the body.

B Lymphocytes- By generating antibodies, B cells are essential for pathogen-specific immunity. Immunoglobulins attached to the surface of B lymphocytes allow them to identify soluble antigens, causing them to develop into plasma cells, which can secrete immunoglobulins and produce antibodies. Primary lymphoid tissues include lymphocytes.

PEAAAAAASE HELP
Katen [24]
Mass movements (also called mass-wasting) is the down-slope movement of Regolith (loose uncemented mixture of soil and rock particles that covers the Earth's surface) by the force of gravity without the aid of a transporting medium such as water, ice, or wind.

The rate at which it moved
The type of motion is the most important characteristic of a slope failure, and there are three different types of motion:
If the material drops through the air, vertically or nearly vertically, it’s known as a fall.
If the material moves as a mass along a sloping surface (without internal motion within the mass), it’s a slide.
If the material has internal motion, like a fluid, it’s a flow.
